There was nothing out of the ordinary that night. Nothing to suggest that my life was about to be drastically altered. The evening sky was the same dull blue/grey as the natural atmosphere fought to gain access to the heavily polluted skies of the Big City. FINALLY DONE!

Well, I finally did it.  I finished my portrait.  I've been off and on working on this thing for months... mostly off... it didn't take me that long, a few hours, I just kept avoiding the hair, lol. Hey all... or the.... none of you who actually bother to visit my page anymore. I had pretty much disappeared from DA for a looong time.  I still come around and check peoples art, but I just had no inspiration to write. Well, I just posted a poem... it's a bit dark... and a bit weird... or maybe I just think it's dark and weird. Anyway, it actually doesn't reflect my life right now at all.  I'm pretty happy all things considered.  I'm sure on some subconcious level it has something to do with something, but it's basically just a poem.  I have absolutely zero control over my poetry.  It comes, I write.  Often I don't even understand why I

I just realized that I have 4,001 pageviews.... It only took me.... almost three years.  February 18, 2004 was day one here for me. ..... not much to say... just thought it was noteworthy that 4,001 people have wandered onto my frontpage at some point in the past two and a bit years.  That's a lot of people.  Perhaps not for those of you with hundreds of thousands of pageviews... for for a lowly little poet like me.  It makes me smile.
